Q: When will glamping reservations open?
A: Glamping reservation for your preferred event will open the same day that registration for your event opens. NEW THIS YEAR- You will sign up for glamping through your Team Center page of your Ragnar account. This will allow you see on your account that a glampsite is confirmed for your team.
Q: I don’t see any Sunset events on the schedule. What’s up with that?
A: To enjoy something new tomorrow, you have to let the sun set today... We are excited to say that we are in the process of re-imagining the Sunset concept to make it the most Ragnarian experience possible! While this means that we are not offering any Sunset events in 2022, we will be offering Sprint relays in place of many of the Sunset relays so you can continue to enjoy the one-day event while we perfect our Sunset recipe.
Q: I signed up and paid for a Sunset event in 2020, deferred that registration to 2022, but now there are no Sunset events. What do I do?
A: You should have received a registration code for any US event in 2022. This code is good for 100% of the cost of a team, regardless of format or cost. So if you are interested in running Sprint Miami instead of Sunset Miami, for example, simply sign up using your code and you'll be ready to start inviting your team.
Q: I signed up and paid for a Sunset event in 2021, deferred that registration to 2022, but now there are no Sunset events. What do I do?
A: Email us! Customerservice@runragnar.com We want you to be excited to run in 2022 so please reach out so we can discuss all of your options!
Q: Are there any concerns about safety or cancellations of 2021 events due to COVID-19 or the Delta Variant?
A: Ragnar is monitoring the COVID-19 situation in all our race locations. We will implement changes and precautions according to local & state authorities and CDC guidelines as necessary to keep participants, staff, volunteers, and local communities healthy. Continue to check the Runner Packet for your event for updates and measures implemented for this specific race.
Q: But for real, are s’mores back at trail events?
A: S’mores aren’t something we would ever joke about. EVER.
Using credit from a canceled 2020/2021 event:
Q: I have a credit from a cancelled 2020 or 2021 event, but I didn’t receive the email with my registration code!
A: Gotta love technology! Please email us at email@example.com. We’ll be happy to follow up with your code and make sure you can get signed up.
Note: Only 2020 captains will receive a code. Runners will receive an email notification that 2021 events are now available, but their captain will be the one to register the new team.
Q: I deferred my 2020 Sunset registration to 2022 but I see that event is now a Sprint, not a Sunset in 2022?!
A: Your registration code for 2022 is for 100% off, regardless of the format of the event. You now have more time with your friends and more miles for your dollar!
Q: Do I have to keep the same runners next year? What if part of my team can’t run next year?
A: The registration code for a future event will go to the captain, not the team as a whole. The captain will then register a new team for their preferred event. At that time, they may invite an entirely new roster of runners, keep the exact same roster, or any combination in between. It is easiest to think of the registration in terms of a completely new event, the only difference is that the registration is already paid.
Q: If I deferred my glamping reservation to 2022 or have an unused glamping credit from a cancelled 2020/2021 event, how do I sign up for my new event?
A: You should have received an email with a glamping code. That code will be valid for a glamping reservation at any trail event that offers glamping. You will first register your team for the event using the event code, then you may register your team for glamping using your glamping code. Glamping can now be purchased through your Team Center, so you will be able to see on your Ragnar account if you have a Glampsite reserved for 2022.
Note: Glamping WILL SELL OUT! Once an event is sold out, we unfortunately don’t have a way to add more teams. As soon as you choose your 2022 event, please sign up to ensure that you get a spot!

Tidbits, Miscellanies, and Fluffery:
Q: I keep updating my birthdate, but it is saving incorrectly.
A: Yeah... that's a glitch we're working on. Our developers are in a different time zone so every time you save changes to your account, the date gets bumped a day.
There is no need to fix it right now - it won't impact your registration at all. But if you would like to update it to be correct, you can set it one day early so it will auto(in)correct itself to the correct day.

Q: The links in the Ragnar emails don't work! What the dickens?
A: Technology! Gotta love it! If you clear your cache and cookies, then try again, it *should* work. If it doesn't, email us and we'll send the link directly.
